We have a very small bedroom at the front of the house, made even smaller by a whole wall of quite ugly wardrobes. Had we been staying they would have been ripped out by now, but as we aren't they haven't! Quite nice handles though.

Early signs of spring are there if you look for them. Buds waiting to burst open when the days lengthen and warm up a bit.

This beautiful crochet blanket was a wedding present from my Mum (which she made herself) when Rog and I got married 24 years ago. We still snuggle up under it while watching TV on cold winter evenings.

I've had a "thing" about shoes since I was about 6 years old, and have always had loads more than I needed. . . . .

Blow, blow, thou winter wind
Thou art not so unkind
As man's ingratitude;

Hello and welcome to my 365 for 2012, which is of course, a leap year, so my 365 automatically becomes a 366.

This is me, well not actually me, its my name, but I like my name and I am happy in my skin, so I am Joy. And this blog is an illustrated diary, if you like, of my year. Enjoy
