69/366

A tribute to pre-Victorian engineering
The Kennet and Avon Canal was built in the late 18th and early 19th Centuries, and this particular bridge (at Burbage on the main A346 from Marlborough to Salisbury) was built in approx 1800, when the only traffic to cross it would have been horse-drawn.

  1. Love canals. Had three holidays on them - so relaxing, unless you get your narrow boat stuck sideways like I did!! Wasn't so narrow.
